Caleb & Paige
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We are a military family - with Caleb serving as a keyboard player in the U.S. Navy Band - and we lead our lives with love, creativity, and care. Though our extended family lives far away, we are incredibly close and deeply connected. We would be honored to welcome you and your child into that circle of warmth, support, and belonging.
Our Lifestyle

Our lifestyle is centered around connection, creativity, and balance. As a military family, we've learned to embrace change with flexibility and find joy in everyday routines. Caleb serves as a keyboard player in the U.S. Navy Band, a shore-duty position that lets him be home most evenings and weekends. While some future duty stations may require travel, his role doesn't involve traditional deployments, giving us stability uncommon in many military families. Paige works on base as a tailor shop supervisor, where she enjoys creating a positive and supportive workplace.
We're involved in several community activities, including a choir on base and a local church that serves as a community center with arts programs and a shared garden. These connections ground us and allow us to give back.
Music fills our home — we often play together, with Caleb on piano or singing and Paige playing trumpet or singing duets. We also enjoy visiting local restaurants and meeting neighbors, building friendships beyond our doorstep. Quiet mornings with coffee and music, evening walks on nearby trails, and weekends with laughter, good food, and friends are our favorite ways to spend time. We stay close to family through Sunday calls, group chats, and traditions. Our home is full of warmth, creativity, and rest — from tending our garden to dancing in the living room. We look forward to welcoming a child into this loving and joyful life.
What It Means to Become Parents

To us, being parents means loving our child unconditionally and being a constant source of support through all the ups and downs. We want to create a stable home where our child feels safe to be themselves, ask questions, and dream big. Teaching the value of family, community, and togetherness is important to us, as is helping them develop a strong sense of self.
We're excited for all the everyday moments—the laughs, the little victories, and even the challenges—that help build a strong family bond. What we think we'll love most is watching our child grow, learn new things, and reach milestones like their first steps and words. We want to be their anchor and biggest fans, sharing all the love and fun of family life.
We believe wholeheartedly that family is built through love, connection, and shared commitment—not just biology. We are ready to welcome a child with tenderness, joy, and unconditional love, and we look forward to walking this path with humility and gratitude.
Cultural Diversity
We believe cultural diversity is a beautiful gift that enriches life and helps us grow as individuals and as a family. We are committed to embracing and celebrating our child's unique heritage, traditions, and experiences. We will actively learn about and honor their cultural, spiritual, and religious background, encouraging pride and understanding. Our home will be a place where questions are welcomed, and diversity is respected and valued. We look forward to exploring cultural traditions, foods, languages, stories, and spiritual or religious practices together, ensuring our child feels seen, loved, and deeply connected to their roots and the wider world.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a welcoming military neighborhood in Rhode Island, just minutes from the Navy base where we both work. Our community is full of families who share a strong sense of support and belonging, with plenty of playgrounds, walking trails, and even one right in our backyard. On clear days, we're lucky to see the ocean from our back porch, making our home feel peaceful and connected to nature.

Our favorite room is the living room, where Caleb plays the upright piano every morning and evening. We often open the sliding door to the backyard, letting the music fill the air while fresh garden scents drift in from both our indoor plants and the patio garden outside. We can easily imagine a child taking their first steps here, dancing joyfully to the music that's always part of our home.
Nearby, there's a neighborhood pool where kids and families gather in the summer, creating lasting friendships and fun memories. We love the sense of community here and can't wait to share it with a child—offering a safe, loving space to grow, explore, and thrive.
Our Extended Families

We're Caleb and Paige, and we come from families filled with connection, support, and joy. Every Sunday afternoon, we call Caleb's parents in Pennsylvania to catch up and share about our week—it's a tradition we both treasure. Paige's family in Tennessee stays in touch through a lively group chat where we constantly exchange stories, encouragement, laughs and photos. Though our families live far away, we feel incredibly close to them, and they're all so excited for us to welcome a child through adoption.

When we're home for visits, we gather around homemade meals, reconnect with extended family and friends, and enjoy familiar traditions—like game nights, concerts, and lots of storytelling. These little moments are what make our families so special.
As a military family, we've learned to make home wherever we are, always bringing along the values we were raised with: love, faith, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. We're so excited to grow our family through adoption and can't wait to share these traditions—and our hearts—with your child.
From Us to You

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We hope that our profile has given you a peek into our lives and that you are able to connect or relate with us in some way. We imagine you are probably overwhelmed with countless decisions to make, and you may not even be sure if adoption is the right choice for you at this point. We can't fully comprehend the challenges you're facing, but we are holding space for your courage and strength in making this important decision.
We met over 10 years ago when we were in the same friend group in college. Our relationship was and is built on friendship, humor, and a deep commitment to one another. We have now been married for 7 years. We love cooking together, going on long walks with our dog Ginny, and making music together at home and in community settings. We both value creativity, spiritual life, and community engagement. These things have shaped our life together.
Adoption wasn't always at the forefront of our family plan, but it has always been quietly on our hearts. Through a season of trying to conceive a biological child without success, we took time to reflect on what we truly wanted for our family. It became more and more clear to us that our deepest desire was to become parents?"that family can be made in many ways, not only through biology, but through love, intention, and openness to possibilities. Over time, as our desire to grow our family deepened, we recognized that adoption feels more than just right, but deeply meaningful.
Both of us have seen how adoption can beautifully shape families?"each of us has a cousin who was adopted as an infant, and Paige's mom was adopted as a teenager. These experiences help us to understand the lifelong importance of honoring a child's heritage and building connections between families.
We are both excited?"and yes, a little scared?"to grow our family and become parents. We know that life with a young child will bring messes, surprises, and plenty of sleepless nights, but we also imagine so much joy in the everyday moments. We envision evenings filled with laughter, music, and dancing in the living room, and quiet bedtime routines with lullabies and nursery rhymes.
We believe family is made through love, commitment, and shared stories. We also want to affirm that we are fully open to adopting a child of a different race, ethnicity, cultural background, or religious heritage. We see diversity as a gift and are committed to learning, listening, and building an environment that affirms and celebrates every aspect of a child's identity. If you choose us to care for your child, we will tell them their story with honesty and tenderness from an early age.
We hope to have you present in our lives, as much as you are comfortable with. We will send letters, photos, and videos as your child grows. We are open to phone and video chats, and planned visits?"if and when you are ready. Your child will know how cherished and loved they are by their birth parents; as you will be cherished and loved by us. We will respect the communication you choose and understand that there may be more or less with time.
We can't promise to be perfect parents, but we do promise to be present, patient, and loving. We will celebrate your child's uniqueness and walk beside them through every step of their journey. We will create a home filled with laughter, connection, and unconditional love.
We look forward to walking this journey with care, love, and the support of those around us. Wherever your path leads, we hope you find peace, clarity, and the right home for your child.
With love and gratitude,
Caleb & Paige
